Two strangers, after chatting online, arrange to meet for coffee at a café somewhere in New York City. Almost immediately, they spark a conversational current that carries us through their personal histories and intimate secrets. Filled with tension and suspense, the story of “Sylvia” and “Steiner” unfolds in a mesmerizing assault of rapid-fire dialogue rife with humor. Disappointed in their careers - as a substitute teacher and a cop - and past love affairs, they cook up a bizarre plan that seems destined to cure their respective woes.
